City Council Call-In Day to prevent Underage Drinking

Do you want to help fight against underage drinking? Today's the day! Building Alcohol Ad-Free Transit, a group dedicated to stopping underage drinking, is holding a call-in today to encourage city council members to vote for a resolution that would call on the MTA to stop putting alcohol ads on public transit.

Columbia University is presenting Hip Hop Stroke, a new plan for helping people recover from strokes, utilizing the power of music. The plan is to help children learn about strokes and the stroke recovery process, with music and other forms of entertainment serving as a guide.The head of the program is Dr. Olajide Williams, a doctor at Columbia who specializes in stroke research.
