    Jasmina Needs Our Help

Five year old PS 41 kindergarten student Jasmina Amena has recently been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of leukemia. She is now in the hospital undergoing 3 months of intense chemotherapy. As a necessary part of her cure, Jasmina needs a bone marrow transplant immediately following her chemotherapy treatment. The bone marrow transplant is critical to her survival.

Jasmina is adopted so her mother Thea is not able to turn to Jasmina’s blood relations for a possible match. In addition, Jasmina is African-American, a group severely under-represented on the worldwide registry. Jasmina needs our help….

If you are between the ages of 18-55 years of age and in good health, you could be a match for Jasmina.

The test to see if you are a compatible match is simple–a cheek swab. A professional medical testing group will be on hand to conduct these tests.

If you can not make it in person, you can also order a home test kit. For information, go to www.oneforjasmina.com.
