GetHealthyHarlem.org's educational information is written by staff at the Harlem Health Promotion Center, and published under the username "Publisher."  All information posted by "Publisher" has been vetted by medical and public health professionals from academic institutions such as Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health, and medical institutions such as Harlem Hospital, Mount Sinai, North General, clinics and their own private practices.

These health practitioners comprise the Health Advisory Board and are an especially important element of this site as they provide information about specific health topics that affect Harlem, and the resources that are available here to meet residents' particular needs.
