The 2024 NYS Health’s Annual Report shows exciting progress in its health system.

This report shows that the New York State Health Foundation (NYS Health), a private state wide foundation dedicated to improving the health of all New Yorkers, was a major contributor of the progress in the health system.

Some of their 2024 exciting progress include:

• Expanding health care coverage, providing more support for returning veterans and their families and helping communities recover form Hurricane Sandy.
•  The launch of the New York state of Health online marketplace, where you’ll see all the health plans available through the Affordable Care Act (or Obama care) in your area so that you can compare them side-by-side and pick the plan that is right for you. The marketplace will also tell you if you qualify for free or low-cost coverage through Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
• Enrollment of hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers in health care coverage options and improvement related to health care quality such as excellent diabetes care delivered by more than 3,000 primary care providers and
• Efforts from more than 600 mental health and substance use clinics to provide integrated care to its patients.
