HTW # 189 Fireworks have become the main part of many celebrations, such as 4th of July and New Year’s. The main ingredient in fireworks is an
explosive black powder, also known as gunpowder, which makes fireworks dangerous. You should only light fireworks outdoors in cleared areas away from houses, buildings, dry leaves, and things that catch fire easily. Wear eye protection when using fireworks, light each firework one at a time, and try to keep water nearby for fires and emergencies. You should never experiment or attempt to make homemadefireworks. Never attempt to re-light fireworks
that were lit and then went out. Instead soak them in water and throw them away. For those fireworks you don’t use, store them in a cool, dry place.
