Several articles published this week describe a sting operation that was carried out by the State Liquor Authority in which 32 city stores were busted for selling alcohol to minors. The sting operation sent undercover minors to 74 stores throughout the five boroughs, out of which the 32 allowed minors to purchase alcohol. Additionally, the articles reveal that the stores in Brooklyn were the most willing to sell children alcohol. Read more here and here.
