Lawrence Bailey, D.D.S. earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University, and his Master of Public Health degree from The Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Dr. Bailey is the Chief of Dental Services at Renaissance Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Central Harlem and currently serves as Director for the Harlem Hospital Center General Practice Residency Program.

Dr. Bailey recently authored a play safe initiative for children in Central Harlem. He plays a vital role in encouraging inner city youth to achieve academic excellence by posting the pictures and report cards of Renaissance patients who are on their school's honor roll list. Dr. Bailey is a mentor primarily to students interested in pursuing health science careers, but he has never turned away any student who looked to him for guidance.

Dr. Bailey is a past President of the New York County Dental Society and the New York State Academy of General Dentistry. He also served as a past secretary of the Greater Metropolitan New York Dental Society. He currently serves on the Organization Committee of the Greater New York Dental Meeting.
