Ma Michelle Q. Cruz, PT
Q: What is your profession? Where do you work?
A: I am a physical therapist specializing in orthopedics and sports. I get to encounter people of all ages (from pediatrics to geriatrics) who have musculoskeletal disorders. I have been practicing as a physical therapist in various settings for over 10 years. Currently, I am employed by Manhattan-based InterFysio, LLC. I have been a Harlem resident since January 2024, but, have been assigned to an out-patient clinic in Yonkers since March of that same year.
Q: What do you do to stay healthy?
A: I try my best to maintain a balanced lifestyle: eating nutritious food, drinking lots of water (I do not drink soda), getting a good amount of sleep/rest, and being physically active - walking as much as I can with my husband and playing as often as I can with my 2 daughters.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do in Harlem?
A: My family and I enjoy walking around the parks: St. Nicholas, Morningside, and Riverside. We also like visiting the shops along 125th Street.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: To unwind, I read, surf the net, watch television or sing/dance.
