1) Feed heart, mind and spirit with quiet, prayer/meditation, love and compassion
2) Practice gratitude
3) Increase eating and sharing healthy, lovingly prepared home-cooked food
4) Have a daily exercise routine that increases circulation, improves flexibility and strengthens muscle
5) Eat real foods that are as minimally processed as possible
6) Eat a variety of gently cooked green leafy vegetables daily
7) Consume raw foods (e.g. vegetable juices, vegetables and salads) daily
8) Consume some fermented food daily (e.g. yogurt, kim che, sauerkraut, miso)
9) Drink at least 6-8 glasses of water a day
10) Drastically reduce caffeine. This includes colas and sodas with caffeine.
11) Avoid artificial sweeteners
12) Eliminate refined sugar and flour - products made with white sugar and flour
