Make sure you breathe easy!
This week is officially Respiratory Care week! Respiratory health issues can affect anyone. You probably know someone who has dealt with respiratory health issues, or maybe you’ve even dealt with them yourself.
Here are some tips that can keep you and your loved ones breathing easy!
1. If you’ve been coughing, wheezing, or feeling short of breath, consider visiting your doctor. They can help find a way to make you feel better!

3. If you smoke tobacco, do your best to break the habit. Smoking increases your risk of lung disease, cancer, and heart disease. Click here for advice on how to stop smoking!
4. Make sure that you’re getting plenty of exercise! There are also special breathing exercises that can keep your lungs in tip-top shape.
5. Infections like the cold or flu can put your lungs in a bad spot. Make sure that you protect yourself by washing your hands and by staying home to rest if you’re sick! Here’s some good ways to help keep the germs at bay.
