Does a teen in your life want to nurture their love of science?
One way is to get them involved in STEM programs like the one that took place this past summer through the Columbia University Mortimer B. Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute's BRAINYAC program. Every summer the Zuckerman Institute welcomes a dozen teens from around New York City to take part in the Columbia University Brain Research Apprecenticeships In New York At Columbia (BRAINYAC) program. Once there, young people have the rare opportunity to work one-on-one with a real live neuroscience mentor and then to showcase their summer projects at an end of season science fair.
