Harlem River Community Rowing -- Learn to Row this Summer!
Harlem River Community Rowing is offering four summer sessions of learn-to-row classes. Participants will get approximately 18 hours of hands-on training in rowing fundamentals.
Classes can accommodate people at most fitness levels and ages, from the late teens and up. It’s mandatory for safety reasons, however, that you are a competent swimmer. After completing all classes, you'll have the skills needed to join the Harlem River Community Rowing novice program.
Four sessions, each consisting of eight classes, will be held on weekend mornings from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., and weeknights from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. There is still time to sign up for July, August, September, and October sessions. The cost is $150 per person (reduced fees are available for participants who qualify). Practice takes place on the Harlem River at Roberto Clemente State Park, Bronx (a 15 minute walk from the 176th Street 4 train subway stop. Directions on website).
If interested, contact learn-to-row coordinator Jenny at jenny@harlemrivercr.org as soon as possible.

Flag as inappropriateI think with the four summer sessions of learn-to-row classes of Harlem River Community Rowing offering it can be great and provide good exercise to people who will participate in this class. Plus it will teach how to proper row and will prepare it’s participant if ever an emergency comes. Anyway in relation to this, Summer fruit season is just about here. We all know that summer fruit is a bit more expensive than compared with the rest of the year – well, to be fair that is when it's freshest – and no one really wants to get a personal loan to stock up on a few mangos, peaches, bananas, or a watermelon or two. During the summer months more people are on the lookout for cool meals, as you don't really want to eat anything incredibly hot and ice cream does not count as a meal – unless you want diabetes. (See: http://personalmoneystore.com/moneyblog/2009/06/11/why-is-fruit-so-expen...) Sandwiches are always popular, and you can put together some meals without needing installment loans,
