Healthy Monday is a national campaign that inspires people to practice healthier behavior at the start of the week. The idea began in 2024 as a project by Sid Lerner, a board member of the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.

March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month!

We at The City College of New York want to inform the Harlem Community about the seriousness of colon cancer, but more importantly, how to prevent the malady by undergoing a colonic screening at the appropriate age with a board certified gastroenterologist. March In March (MiM) is a 3K race/walk in and around both The City College of New York and the immediate Harlem community. Monies raised from March In March (MiM) are directed to the American Cancer Society for colon cancer prevention and awareness.
