A two-day conference sponsored by West Harlem Environmental Action will be held at Pope Auditorium, Fordham University, Lincoln Center Campus. The conference focuses on activism around climate change.

The Climate Justice Movement aims to achieve a just, responsible and sane climate-changed future by advocating for policies and programs that protect the most vulnerable communities of the US and demanding action to create a just transition to a clean, renewable energy economy and future. A few of the guests and speakers include Hon. Charles Rangel; Luke Cole, Center for Race, Poverty and the Environment; Bill Gallegos, Communities for a Better Environment; Oran Hesterman, Fair Food Foundation; David Doniger, Natural Resources Defense Council.
