On behalf of the New York City Coalition, we would like to cordially invite you to the World AIDS Day Conference in Harlem; a community mobilization event aimed at strengthening Black organizational and individual capacity in addressing the HIV/AIDS pandemic in their communities.
The goals to be accomplished in our mobilization efforts is to increase awareness and develop the capacity of Black and Latino faith leaders in Houses of Worship, to provide HIV prevention services including HIV counseling, testing and education services to members of the community in particular to young men who have sex with men and women of color in New York City. Activities available at the conference include but are not limited to:
- HIV/AIDS 101, Safer Sex/ Sex-Toy demonstration, Community Mobilization workshops and more
- Free Rapid HIV Testing & STI Screenings
- Screening of "Sex In An Epidemic" Documentary
- Free Breakfast & Lunch
- The FIRST 100 people will receive a special prize
