The OASIS mapping website is a searchable database on over 600 community gardens in NYC! Each garden on OASIS has information about when it was founded, what is grown there, and if you can volunteer.

The website also tells you if the garden is protected under the Community Garden Agreement and which agency, if any, has authority over the garden.

If you'd like to start a new garden, you can also use the OASIS maps to get information about property ownership, nearby resources such as schools, and surrounding land use patterns.
