The Communities IMPACT (Inspired and Motivated to Prevent and ConTrol) Diabetes Center is a group of people living and/or working in East Harlem who have joined together to make the community a healthier place for families just like yours! This newsletter was written specifically for school aged children together with the help from kids in East Harlem. The articles, games and activities were created to make learning about maintaining a healthy weight, being active, health eating and diabetes prevention and control interactive and fun for our readers.
