Growing your own community garden

Article posted by Publisher 1 year ago

The surest way to have fresh produce at your fingertips is to grow it yourself!

Starting a community garden in your neighborhood allows you to choose which fruits and vegetables you would like to eat and to control what goes into your food by avoiding pesticides.

The "America the Beautiful Fund" provides free seeds to new gardens that may need some assistance.

Visit the American Community Gardening Association website or call them at 1-800-ASK-ACGA (275-2242) for information about how to start a community garden.
