    HTW #59: When checking nutrition labels for salt content per serving, do the math! It's important to realize that a serving is often just half a cup, much less than the average person eats at a sitting.

    Great tip! Just a quick point. A hidden source of sodium is MSG (monosodium glutamate) found in most processed foods and artificial flavour enhancers. This creates a terrible imbanblece in the sodium content of our food, and really should be avoided as much as possible.
