La Marqueta in East HarlemNew York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) announced last week that they will be investing in a commercial kitchen located at La Marqueta in East Harlem. The space will be a shared workspace for new food businesses, and will help these businesses expand their food craft.

Also, NYCEDC issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to encourage companies to apply to manage the kitchen space and help create new food-related businesses.
