Pinehurst Healing Arts Community Treatment: Thursday is community acupuncture day at Pinehurst Healing Arts. Community treatment is based on the "working class acupuncture" model, which emphasizes lower fees, simpler treatments, and community building. By treating up to four patients in a communal room it is possible to offer a sliding scale fee structure. Patients rest on comfortable zero gravity lounge chairs while receiving acupuncture. Herbal formulas are prescribed if needed.
