Please join Partnerships for Parks and HealthCorps for an all-day festival at Soundview Park – a gorgeous 200-acre waterfront park in the Bronx.  The event will honor Family Health and Fitness Day USA with a lineup of events for the entire family.  This festival hopes to attract South Bronx residents to the park to take part in a range of fun and healthy sports and games and to better acquaint themselves with local healthy living resources.  Activities include: park volunteer and beautification projects, workshops related to healthy foods, cooking and nutrition, yoga sessions, baseball games, eco-friendly arts & crafts for all ages, Teen Iron Chef and HealthCorps cooking demonstrations, guided walking tours of the park and waterfront, kayaking provided by the Bronx River Alliance, running games and fitness workouts, and tabling by local organizations.
