Hi everyone!

I wanted to post some pictures from my most recent  bike rides. My friend (Liz) and I went on two rides this week because we can't go this weekend. Since the weather was so nice earlier in the week, it was really pleasant!

On Sunday, we rode over the George Washington Bridge (we both live in Washington Heights) and into New Jersey. What an experience! There were so many other people walking or bike riding across the bridge. So even if you don't ride bikes, you can check it out. It's a pretty flat bridge so it's very easy to manage and you get some great views of both NY and NJ. After crossing, we rode in the Palisades, which had a lot of hills. It was difficult, but we pushed through. I promised Liz that I wouldn't make her do any more hilly rides throughout the rest of our training. It was definitely good exercise though! On Wednesday afternoon, Liz and I rode down the Hudson River Greenway again (we love that path!) and went all the way to Battery Park. The best part? All the trees were in bloom and the flowers smelled delicious. Here are some pictures:
