Wellness and Weight Loss Go Hand in Hand
Are you as fit and healthy as you'd like to be? I'd like to help you get there.
Last week's Transitions event was a huge success, with 40 attendees. Not surprisingly, we have only two spaces available for the currently forming Transitions Lifestyle group. The Transitions Lifestyle is the perfect complement to the Fort Tryon Park free fitness walking program, or any fitness program and, if you've fallen off the fitness wagon, Transitions can help put you back on it.
I wouldn't be encouraging you to enroll if I didn't believe in Transitions, which is based on my book, “Dare to Lose” written with my co-author, Dr. Shari Lieberman. I just met someone yesterday who lost over 50 pounds, and his wife lost 30--in just 12 weeks. They aren't gaunt or tired--on the contrary, they look and feel great!
Too many times I meet people who have gone on fad diets, or yo-yo dieted--after all that work and deprivation, the weight always comes back on eventually, and sometime gallopingly.
What may not return is their health. Don't go to extremes to lose weight--you could lose your health instead. And believe me, as a cancer survivor, I found out first hand that our health is the most precious thing we own.
If you want to stay well and keep extra weight off permanently, join our Transitions Lifestyle Group, beginning on Monday, January 26th. It's affordable, and fun. For details, go to "Events."
