 It is diabetes Awareness Month : a chronic disease affecting many in New York and the leading contributor to kidney disease, blindness , stroke and heart attacks

Every sunday the Noelli Center will post on its facebook  & blog,  Health & Scriptures, specific scriptures that guide us with health , scripturessee our second posting

Since the 70's there have been incoporation of many community programs, to improve health outcomes in underserved area snd among , Blacks, Latinos and Native Americans. While many programs have improved child health and infant mortality. Particularly Adult Blacks & Latinos are still having complications of preventable disease at disproportionate rates.

Unfortunately wasn't able to hod this event this year , in Harlem, but looking to hold next year Uptown.This year it wil be held in Bedford Stuyvesant  Brooklyn

 This is an Afterwork event , of Neo-soul, Soul food, and Health

 Harlem is the Army & Bed Stuy the Navy ,we must be the armed forces in this war " Disease" & rescue our people back to home land of Wellness
