BrownstoneFitness is a family run physical performance studio. We do not have the size or the frills of a spa, but we guarantee that we will help you get the results you desire.
The trainers have diverse backgrounds that include training and certifications in yoga (with David Swenson), Pilates (Mariah Stott), USA Weightlifting, Boxing and Track and Field, U.S. Navy, and The School of Hard Knocks (we'll tell you more about this one when you contact us!).
You'll receive a personalized program that is tailored to your fitness goals. We're not a "Globo Gym" that makes our money on turnover and no-shows. Whether you're a bride-to-be or an athlete looking to gain an edge, or just looking to get into the best shape of your life, BrownstoneFitness is the place.
Our Training Philosophy
We believe that the first thing you have to win is the "inner game." The voice inside your head that says "you can't do it," you'll never get in shape," "I hate the way I look" needs to be defeated. We work with you on your self concept. We teach you how to create a vision of yourself as a healthy, dynamic, powerful person. For the inner game, you'll learn to:

In the physical skills realm, we are influenced by a number of sources. Frank Forencich, Mike Boyle, Paul Chek, Dan John, Ross Enamait, John Peterson, and Jozef Drabik are just some of them. "We believe that form follows function." We believe that the body is not a Frankenstein collection of body parts and should NOT be trained as such. Our foundational movements are based on moving the body through space. With the body as a tool, we can become stronger, more agile, more flexible, and more powerful. When we build the body for "go", the "show" part will take care of itself.
