Acid reflux surgery a short intro
The standard surgery for gastroesophageal reflux disease is Nissen fundoplication . The whole procedure is often done using a laparoscopic (minimally invasive surgery performed through small incisions) surgical technique, but can also be performed as traditional open surgery.
During this surgery, the surgeon wraps parts of the stomach (i.e. gastric fundus) around the lower esophagus in order to strengthen the natural valve between the stomach and the esophagus. This is done to prevent the refluxed stomach content to come into contact with the esophagus.
Did you know that your painful, distressing acid reflux symptoms could be permanently healed using an all-natural holistic strategy? This strategy composed of homeopathic remedies, herbal remedies, dietary , detoxification and lifestyle changes, can fix the internal cause of gastroesophageal reflux disease permanently without potential surgery complications or drug side effects.
