Free Museum Tour and Discussion Tomorrow for People with Dementia and their Caregivers

Blog entry posted by RenataB 26 weeks ago

Hello everyone! I just wanted to let you all know about a great free event happening tomorrow, December 7, 2024, from 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM, at The Studio Museum, right here in the heart of Harlem.

There will be a discussion and guided tour of one of the current exhibitions, designed for people with dementia and their caregivers.

People with memory often say that talking about art and going to workshops helps them feel better in many ways. Looking at art and discussing it together can be very inspiring. It can also improve your mood and lower your stress level.

If you or someone you know has dementia, this is a great opportunity to feel inspired and healthy.

Reservations are required. Reserve your place by calling Monique Hedmann at (212) 939-4239.

Don’t worry if you can not make it this time. There will be another event next Tuesday, December 14, 2024.

The Studio Museum is located at 144 West 125th Street between Lenox Avenue (Malcolm X Boulevard) and Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Boulevard (7th Avenue).
