Hike the Heights

Hike the Heights 5 will take place on June 6th, 2024 on National Trails day. The annual family-friendly event combines art, physical activity, and fun. The day is composed of hiking the trail, participating in artistic activities, and celebrating.

To get to the party, we recommend that you walk. Join a hike along the giraffe path that meets your abilities. Hikers will meet at 9:30AM with a brief art project to get your creative juices flowing. The hikes will depart by 10:30AM from parks along the trail. At the end of the hike, your achievements will be celebrated (11-2pm). Sign-up for a hike. 
 
All hikes end at the Highbridge Recreation Center in Washington Heights for a community potluck. The party involves food, dancing, youth friendly arts and crafts, races, games, Highbridge Tower tours, and the "Reel Short Film Festival."
