Get Healthy Harlem

Nourishing Kitchen is a community food program in East Harlem that provides free healthy food options for low income East Harlem residents. Nourishing Kitchen has been nominated for charity of the year and its creator Gina Keatley (formerly Puzzanghera) has been nominated for volunteer of the year.

I went to the supermarket yesterday because I decided that I didn't want to order out and I wanted to cook a healthy meal. I know how to cook meat, vegetables, rice, etc. But, the problem isn't cooking the food but picking out the food to cook. I never know if the meat that I picked has too much fat or is too red or if the fruit that I picked was too soft or too hard.
