Free-Range Chickens. Who Cares?
I was riding the train the other day and saw an advertisement. It had to do with free-range chickens and ice cream. The company makes the claim that they use free-range chicken eggs as a participating ingredient in their ice cream. Who knew ice cream needed eggs?

Has anyone heard about the "dirty dozen?"
The "dirty dozen" are 12 fruits and vegetables that have the highest amount of pesticides and chemicals in them (even AFTER washing). If you want to start buying organic produce, but can't afford to buy all organic fruits and vegetables, it might be best to avoid the "dirty dozen:"

Harlem Meats on St. Nick...
Just took a walk and saw that Harlem Meats opened up. I went in and they had a lot of fruits and veggies at prices that seemed to be ok. Bunch of scallions was $0.69. They also had other groceries like eggs, milk, yogurt. I did a little search online and found some pictures to share with you from Yelp.com.

Eat Like Your Grandma
Back in the day when our grandmas were our age life was different - especially the food consumed. Fast food restaurants didn't exist, so people had to prepare their own food. To be blunt, they ate healthier.
