I just finished reading the book Whatever It Takes: Geoffrey Canada's Quest to Change Harlem and America by Paul Tough, which tells the story of the Promise Academy in Harlem.

On July 18, 2024, the New York African Chorus Ensemble will be holding its fifth annual night of educational and soul-lifting performances called "The Gathering IV: A Night of African Traditional, Popular, and Art music".

We have been receiving many inquiries about whether or not we have information about this season's Harlem SummerStage Concert series.  We contacted the Office of the General Services at the State Office Building, and they informed us that there will be no Harlem Summer Stage concert series this summer.
